DAR AMALは、モロッコの聖地ムーレイイドリスという街から始まりました。人々の慎ましく豊かな心が、優しい時間を流しているこの街で、ここの暮らしをもっと知りたい、伝えたいという想いと共に、この土地が抱える問題を解決することを目標に、2010年から生活困難な女性たちや仕事のない若年層の雇用創出に取り組んでいます。
A town where gentle time and air enfolds
The brand all started in a holy ground of Morocco, Moulay Idriss. Here gentle time runs
under people’s calm and rich mind. DAR AMAL’s biggest goal is to solve issues this area faces
by sharing the life here with you. Since 2010, the brand has been pursuing employment generation to support indigent women and jobless young people in Moulay Idriss.

学校で勉強することなく、刺繍をして生きてきた女性たちにとって、手を動かすことは、生きることでした。その生きてきた証とこれから生きて行く希望としてDAR AMALは女性たちに寄り添い、伝統工芸を継承しながら、幅広い年齢の女性たちに仕事をしてもらえるような仕事を作っています。
Life without school education, but with embroidery, using hands mean “living” for womenin Moulay Idriss. As it is their living proof and also a future hope, DAR AMAL supports those women of different ages
by inheriting their traditional crafts together and creating jobs.

パンが主食のモロッコでは小麦粉の袋が溢れかえっています。この小麦粉袋を綺麗に何度も水洗いし、一つの素材としてアップサイクルすることで、環境に優しくゴミを減らし、また細かい刺繍が出来なくなってしまった女性たちへの雇用を再度生み出しています。このバックの特徴として、使う側も嬉しい軽さと丈夫さがあります。優しく強くて軽いバックがDAR AMALの現在の主力商品となっています。
Bread is the staple food in Morocco. Wheat bags can be found all over in the county hence.
We wash them repeatedly and upcycle them as a material, then turn them into carrying bags.
It is eco-friendly, leads to waste reduction and this easy-to-stitch material even gives older women
with poor eye sight reemployment opportunities. It is also very user-friendly, ultra-lightweight and durable.
This affectionate, strong and lightweight bag is our current flagship product.
